Terms of Service

Welcome to SkyGlancer. By accessing or using skyglancer.com and related services (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service

SkyGlancer is a global slow-TV / live-scenery platform. We aggregate publicly available camera streams (government open feeds, legally embeddable public streams) and let approved merchants claim locations and operate their own RTMP cameras. Anyone may watch; some features require an account.

2. Accounts

You must provide a valid email address and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. One person may not operate accounts for the purpose of circumventing region restrictions or bans.

3. Subscriptions and Merchant Status

Optional paid memberships are billed through Stripe and renew per the plan you select. Merchant certification requires an active subscription and our approval. Merchants may claim unclaimed locations or add cameras, and must keep their streams online and lawful. We may revoke merchant status for violations.

4. Advertisements

Self-service ad slots are offered at US$9.90 per week. After payment your ad is placed into the rotation automatically and displayed as a small card in the lower-right corner of stream pages for 7 consecutive days. We may reject or remove ads that are illegal, misleading, adult, hateful, or otherwise inappropriate; where payment was already made and the ad is removed for policy violation before serving, we will refund the unused slot. Ad slots already served are non-refundable.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: interfere with or overload the Service; scrape or redistribute streams outside the Service; upload unlawful, infringing or harmful content; misrepresent your identity or location; or attempt to bypass technical or regional restrictions. We enforce these rules and may suspend accounts that violate them.

6. Third-Party Streams and Content

Streams sourced from public institutions and third-party platforms remain the property of their owners and are provided as-is; availability, quality and accuracy are not guaranteed. If you believe content infringes your rights, contact us and we will promptly investigate and, where appropriate, remove it.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including uninterrupted availability of any particular stream. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service to the maximum extent permitted by law.

8. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or applicable law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (payments already made, ad slots already served, disclaimers) will survive.

9. Changes

We may modify the Service or these Terms; material changes will be announced on the site. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
